Winners of the 2018 AHA (WA)
The winners of the 2018 AHA (WA) Bankwest Hospitality Supplier Awards have been announced, recognising excellence in product and services across Western Australia’s hospitality industry.
The Crown Towers Ballroom last week hosted the Toxfree AHA Gala Dinner, at which the 2018 finalists and winners were acknowledged and celebrated.
Australian Hotels Association (WA) CEO Bradley Woods said the quality of the finalists in each award category demonstrated the high calibre of hospitality services and products in WA.
“Western Australia’s hospitality industry is delivering world class experiences, service, food and beverage to their customers and this is only possible as a result of world class industry suppliers,” Mr Woods said.
“From large companies to small family run businesses, our industry is fortunate to have highly motivated, professional and visionary suppliers underpinning our sector.
“The success and growth of the hospitality industry is reliant on the delivery of high quality goods and services as well as strong relationships between those suppliers, hotels and hospitality venues.”
“The evolution and diversification of WA’s hospitality industry is being driven in large part by those companies that supply it and I congratulate and commend all finalists and winners of the year’s awards.”
The 2018 Ross McGovern Hospitality Industry Achievement Award was presented to Doug May of Lion Beer Australia in recognition of the enormous contribution that he has made to the hospitality industry over several decades.
