VOTING OPEN FOR WA’S BEST COCKTAIL

5 May 2025 | The AHA(WA) is proud to announce that public voting is now underway for the 2025 AHA & Don Julio WA’s Best Cocktail Competition.

Twenty-one venues across Western Australia have nominated their most creative and captivating cocktails, and now it’s up to the public to help decide who will be named among the top four finalists. Voting will remain open until 26 May 2025, after which the finalists will be invited to compete in a live mix-off at the AHA Hospitality Expo at Crown Perth on 24 June 2025.

AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods said the competition shines a spotlight on the incredible talent and innovation within WA’s bar and cocktail scene.

“Western Australia’s hospitality industry is home to some of the most creative cocktail makers in the country,” Mr Woods said. “The WA’s Best Cocktail Competition is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate this creativity and showcase the exceptional quality and originality that our venues deliver.”

During the live mix-off, each finalist will recreate their nominated cocktail on stage, sharing the inspiration behind their creation before a panel of expert judges and a live audience.

“This competition is about more than just a great drink — it’s about the artistry, passion and storytelling that bring each cocktail to life,” Mr Woods said. “We encourage everyone to get behind their favourite venue and help them secure a spot in the live finals by casting their vote by the 26 May deadline.”
