6 JUNE 2026 | AHA(WA) CEO Bradley B Woods joined WA Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti MLA and Racing and Gaming Minister Paul Papalia CSC MLA to welcome the news that pubs, bars and sporting clubs can now apply for extended trading hours throughout the FIFA World Cup being staged in Canada, Mexico and the US. This means approved venues will be able to stay open to show live matches between 9 June and 19 July 2026, giving fans the opportunity to experience the excitement with a crowd.
