EMPLOYEE COVID-19 VACCINATION MANDATES NO LONGER REQUIRED

On 1 June 2022, Premier Mark McGowan announced that from Friday 10 June 2022, mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are no longer required for employees in WA’s hotel and hospitality industry.

This means that from 10 June onwards, staff in WA’s hotel and hospitality industry will no longer need to provide their proof of vaccination from COVID-19 and importantly, employers will no longer need to keep and maintain vaccination records for employees.

The removal of the mandatory employee COVID-19 vaccination requirement marks the last of the remaining Government restrictions and public health measures of our industry.
