FOUR VENUES ADVANCE TO FINAL ROUND IN SEARCH FOR WA’S BEST COCKTAIL

28 May 2025 | The Australian Hotels Association (WA) is proud to announce the four finalist venues in the 2025 AHA & Don Julio WA’s Best Cocktail competition following a thirsty search powered by public votes and mystery judge visits.

These top venues will now take to the stage at Crown Perth on Tuesday 24 June for a live mix-off during the AHA Hospitality Expo, where one will be crowned WA’s Best Cocktail.

AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods said the competition highlights the creativity and spirit of WA’s hospitality venues as well as offering them a unique way to connect with their customers.

“The hunt for WA’s best cocktail brings out the passion, skill and flair of the state’s top hospitality venues, but only one can win the prestigious title,” said Mr Woods.

“At the upcoming mix-off, finalists will need to impress the judges not only with their technical skill and flawless execution but also with the story behind their cocktail.”

The four finalist venues are:
  • Aloft Perth – Coco Loco
  • Lima Cantina, Leederville – Pisco Sour
  • Print Hall, Perth – The Nocturne
  • The Sandbar Scarborough Beach – Matcha Made In Heaven
On the day, finalists will recreate their signature cocktails live on stage and share the story behind them. Judging will be based on five key criteria: taste, visual appeal, creativity, narrative and promotion — for a total score out of 100.
